I was craving fruit this morning. I decided to fill a bowl:
- ripe mango
- juicy plum
What a simple, perfect breakfast.
When, I only have fruit for breakfast, I’m usually ready for a protein snack a couple of hours later, so I’m packing a Fage total with honey for my morning snack….the total Fage is definitely higher in fat, but sometimes, it is worth it, and I love the texture.
How is your Thursday? Mine is pretty busy…I have diabetes nutrition consults at the hospital this morning, a little break in the afternoon, and my presentation on Eating Well for Optimum Health at the local National Kidney Foundation tonight.
