How has your day been?
I’ve been non-stop all day- I had a quick smoothie as I was driving between offices this morning…this was a Chocolate Shredder with banana- I love this one because it is high in protein, so it keeps me full for quite a while and I knew my lunch would be a little later.
Lunch was a grilled chicken whole-wheat wrap from our hospital cafe…at my desk.
After work, I met some friends for dinner – we’re all dietitians and we try to get together once a month. We met at Lemongrass – an awesome sushi and Thai place. I decided on sushi- an Alaskan roll (smoked salmon with avocado and cucumber) and a spicy crunchy tuna roll….both were delish! + a glass of Chardonnay.
Perfect dinner. After dinner and some fun chatting and catching up, I left to meet Anthony who was having dinner with some of our other friends…they had just finished dinner, so we got to hang out and talk for awhile too.
Now, I’m so happy to be home- I have a long day tomorrow too, so I’m looking forward to some relaxing with my husband and a good night’s sleep.
