Breakfast Inspiration

Good morning!

I came across this recipe yesterday on for Deluxe Almond Butter Sandwiches and I decided I had to try it for today’s breakfast. I love the idea of sandwiches for breakfast because, if I’m really inย a hurry, I can just run out the door with my breakfast. And, I love…I use it a lot for work projects.

I spread crunchy almond butter on one piece of toasted high fiber bread, topped with sliced bananas and strawberries, and I used raspberry preservesย on the other slice of bread…simple and easy. Also, very good. Next time, I think I might add a bit of nutella since I always seem to have chocolate involved in my breakfasts one way or the other.

Have a great Wednesday!

  1. Hey, I just found your blog, and I love it! I love the breakfast sandwich idea! I too am a fan of chocolate for breakfast, I saw your chocolate berry oats in another post and am definitely going to have to try that! Have a great day!

  2. Oh this looks SO good!!! I’m a sandwich freak… and have to eat on the go… so this is perfect!! ๐Ÿ™‚

For some reason, I always forget about! I have a couple others that I frequently go to… but allrecipes is great, too! I need to go check them out again! thanks for the reminder ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. Oh yeah, the Nutella would be a great addition! Either way, the sandwich looks great. You could even pre-make that sandwich at nights when you know you will be rushed the next morning (I can’t do that with my cereal, as it gets stale!).

    Have a great day.

  4. Great idea! And I love the idea of adding Nutella. I bet this would also taste good if you toasted it in a sandwich toaster (I have a very cheap one I haven’t used forever; I think I’ll try it!).

    Have a great day! ๐Ÿ™‚

  5. That sandwich looks awesome and I am sure nutella would make a lovely addition!

  6. I love AllRecipes, too!

    That sandwich looks fantastic!

  7. I will definitely be trying that recipe tomorrow – yum! I debated Nutella on my last trip to the grocery, but it’s one of those things that call my name in the middle of the night and the next thing I know I’m sleep-walking to the kitchen and eating Nutella straight from the jar. Maybe I should get some of the mini Nutella packs at World Market for portion control!

  8. That sandwich looks amazing, and quick and easy, too. I bet it’d be delicious with nutella ๐Ÿ™‚
