Spicy Dinner Inspiration + Dessert


I LOVE Buffalo wings! I don’t eat the real things that often, but I do from time to time, and I savor every bite!

Tonight we had a healthier version- skinless boneless chicken tenders baked in buffalo sauce with roasted broccoli and a baked sweet potato….yum! And some blue cheese for dipping!


After dinner, we headed to our newlywed group….after a good discussion on “Talk that Builds Relationships”…we had dessert- delicious strawberry shortcake made with this yummy ginger pound cake that I found at Earthfare, fresh strawberries, and vanilla bean ice cream….along with Tom and Anita’s special coffee – delish!


It has been a long day- I think we’re heading to bed early with plans for an early wake-up call to go to the gym.

  1. Oh yeah, I’m all about the buffalo wing!!! Great idea with your grilled version. The blue cheese really makes them a true buffalo wing, you gotta have it! Your meal looks similar to most of our dinners, with some form of sweet potato and the cooked broccoli (we go through so much broccoli).

    About twice a month we will go to a restaurant and I will crave wings and have to order them. Like you, I savor every bite!
