Life’s a beach

We hit the road at 8:30 this morning and drove through the beautiful mountains and Cherokee National Forest…

And, our Garmin first said we should arrive at 3:15….but after several stops and a quick Subway lunch….and some major traffic (I guess we’re not the only ones who think the beach is a good idea!)…we finally arrived at the beach at 4:30….Here’s the awesome view from our room.

And, my Dad and Emma Kate chilling out on the sofa.

And, my two favorite boys checking out the Beach guide book….

We snacked on some mango and fresh South Carolina peaches….

And, we decided just to hang out at the condo and check out the indoor waterpark tonight so we ordered pizza for dinner….I had a slice of supreme and one breadstick and 2 buffalo wings….

And, my sweet husband and brother-in-law Dave went grocery shopping while Amy and I took Owen and played in the indoor waterpark…the outdoor pools, and walked on the beach for a bit….I am getting pretty tired now, and also a little hungry….I think I’m ready for a snack.

Hope you’ve had a great day! See you tomorrow!
