Taste of Home

We had a great dinner tonight at our favorite Mexican restaurant, La Fiesta….

We started with chips, salsa, and guacamole…my favorite…

And, I had a veggie quesadilla- it was full of cheese, onions, peppers, zucchini, squash, tomatoes, carrots….very good. I ate about half.

Then, we had our newlywed group at Tom and Anita’s…we had a good discussion about communication in marriage, and love and respect and loyalty to your spouse.

Anita always prepares such creative desserts/snacks…tonight she made Watermelon Sherbet Smoothies….so good…and different. They reminded Anthony and me of watermelon juices from Mexico and Jamaica.

The recipe was from Taste of Home….

And, Tom made a delicious cappuccino…

Anita also shared a couple of other recipes with me….Salami Pasta Salad and Meat Loaf Gyros…both from Taste of Home…I can’t wait to try them.

I can’t believe the day is over already. I’m going to try to get into bed at a decent time again….last night didn’t work so well.

Have a good evening. Goodnight!
