Puppy Escape

P6170245

This morning, while I was getting ready for work, Madison decided to dig under our fence and escape from the backyard! I think she must have been chasing a squirrel! So, I spent nearly an hour calling for her as she played and ran through the woods behind our house…luckily, she finally came home, but I ended up being an hour late for work.

Lunch was a 6-inch subway oven-roasted chicken breast with spinach, tomato, onion, pepper, olives, and jalapenos…

I got home from work a little later than I hoped (I did get in a quick 30-minute walk on the greenway outside the wellness center though) and my amazing husband had already started dinner…we had Jennie-O turkey bratwursts with onions and peppers and sweet potato fries.

Busy night- we’re heading out to our newlywed group in about 30 minutes. Have a great evening!

  1. I love love love turkey bratwurst. I’m glad you mentioned them because I am now putting them on my grocery list! Also, I really liked your earlier blog about breakfast. Fiber, fat and protein and key to a great breakfast! I also like to tell people to include at least one fruit and/or veg, so it’s easier to get the recommendation of 5-6 per day!

  2. Sweet potato fries are the best!

  3. Good grief your food so good. Lovey doggy.

  4. I didn’t know you had a pooch friend! Naughty pup- they always come back though, they know who feeds them! How do you make your sweet potato fries- my last attempt (of about 100!) flopped!

Thanks, guys! Yes- surprisingly enough…we have 3 dogs…We have a 17-year old poodle who has been with me since high school….(does that tell my age?) and we have Madison (7-year old beagle), and Lenny (2-year old golden mix)- our life is wild but we love them!

These are easy – frozen Alexia brand…simple and turn out perfect every time!
