What a great start to the day. I slept until 9:30, which is practically unheard of lately! Then, Anthony headed downstairs and handed me the remote and said not to be in any hurry to get up. (I love watching TV in bed and slowly getting my morning started, but it is rare to have the time). So, I spent a few minutes flipping channels and ended up watching a little of Rachael Ray’s 30-minute meals. I used to watch her a lot, but haven’t lately.
A few minutes later, he came back up with this delicious plate of scrambled eggs (with a little diced yellow pepper and onion), and double fiber toast. We shared the plate.
And, of course, fresh coffee, which for some reason tastes even better when someone makes it for you! He also brought blackberry and blueberry preserves.
A great start to the weekend. I have such a great husband!
We’re getting ready to head out on about a 2-hour drive to my parents’ for my grandfather’s 85th birthday…it’s sort of yucky outside here today, so looks like mostly indoor plans for this weekend….this is our weekly forecast….
Rain, rain, rain…which is good for our garden, but I’m preparing for not much outdoor activity this week.
I hope you have a great weekend. Can’t wait to see my family! See you later!
