Tonight we had a quick dinner that is starting to become a staple each week-at our favorite Mexican restaurant, La Fiesta. It is definitely easy to not eat well at Mexican restaurants, and my best advice is portion control.
We started with chips and guacamole.
And, a small margarita.
For dinner, I ordered a vegetarian burrito: it was full of onions, peppers, tomatoes, zucchini, squash, carrots….it was really good, but big. I ate half…
Then, we visited our friends Tom and Anita. They led a pre-marriage class that we took before we got married, so tonight we’re talking about getting together on a weekly basis for a newlyweds couples group…going through some books and studies on marriage.
They had made snacks and also have a great new espresso machine, so I had two chocolate strawberries and a great homemade cappuccino.
Now, we’re home and it’s time for bed.
