Happy Anniversary

A lot of people probably think it’s silly, but I like to celebrate all kinds of special occasions….and today was our 6-month wedding anniversary. Not one year, or 5, or 10, or 50 yet, but special nonetheless -I feel so lucky to have Anthony in my life that this is an occasion to celebrate.

We went to dinner at a great Italian restaurant, Amerigo. Everything was delicious. We started with some bruschetta – awesomely soft Italian bread with tomatoes, mozzarella, garlic, and capers.

It was fabulous. I also enjoyed a glass of Bogle Old Vine Zinfandel.

For my entree- I chose a walnut and goat cheese salad with grilled chicken – it was so good- it also had roasted red peppers and balsamic vinaigrette.

And, Anthony had tortellini with crab and spinach – yum – we shared -so I had a little plate of this and it was delicious.

And, some delicious focaccia with herbed olive oil.

What a great night – I love having these “date nights” with my husband. I love you, honey, Happy Anniversary.

I hope you’ve all had a great night too! See you tomorrow.
