Snacks all day!

It seems that my work is getting much busier lately. I not only spend my time doing actual nutrition work, but I’m also responsible for managing our whole department which includes diabetes education, weight loss programs, and bariatric (weight loss) surgery programs….and it seems we are just getting busier and busier in all of these areas.

So, today, I seemed to snack when I had some time to spare.

First a fage 0% with Trader Joe’s blueberry preserves….I wasn’t sure if it would be as good as the pumpkin butter I mixed into my fage yesterday, but it was awesome! 15 grams of protein and only 90 calories in the yogurt! (Add a few more calories for the blueberry preserves!)

Then, my leftover steak salad from last night with balsamic dressing and a lime seltzer with a splash of Pom.

Then, a little later, a few dark chocolate kisses.

I think we’re going out for Mexican tonight…one of my favorites – I think I could eat chips, salsa, and guacamole every day! See you later!

  1. Your fage looks AMAZING! I was just at TJ’s and completely forgot to get those blueberry preserves (they are making the rounds on all my fave blogs!!) Now I’m kicking myself! Love the Dark Choc Kisses! Perfect portion control!

    The preserves are so delicious – you have to try them! There isn’t a TJ’s in the city where I live, so I’m going to have to start making regular trips to keep stocked up!
