It seems that my work is getting much busier lately. I not only spend my time doing actual nutrition work, but I’m also responsible for managing our whole department which includes diabetes education, weight loss programs, and bariatric (weight loss) surgery programs….and it seems we are just getting busier and busier in all of these areas.
So, today, I seemed to snack when I had some time to spare.
First a fage 0% with Trader Joe’s blueberry preserves….I wasn’t sure if it would be as good as the pumpkin butter I mixed into my fage yesterday, but it was awesome! 15 grams of protein and only 90 calories in the yogurt! (Add a few more calories for the blueberry preserves!)
With the blueberry mixed in….so good!
Then, my leftover steak salad from last night with balsamic dressing and a lime seltzer with a splash of Pom.
Then, a little later, a few dark chocolate kisses.
