After work today, I taught a 45 minute sculpt class. We did squats, lunges, bench presses, rows, plie squats, side lunges, shoulders, biceps, triceps….lots of stuff on BOSUs, just to name a few…
When I left the gym, I was so hungry. I had to run by the grocery store on my way home. Since we were out of town last weekend, my shopping schedule was a little off, so we’re already running out of fruits and veggies. I picked up some stuff to complete a salad for dinner. When I’m in a hurry and want a quick and healthy dinner, a salad is an easy go-to every time.
I don’t drink a lot of juice, but this mangosteen called out to me at the grocery store, so I had this in the car on the way home.
Still hungry when I got home, I had a few small handfuls of these candy coated chocolate covered sunflower seeds that Anthony picked out at Trader Joe’s last weekend. I didn’t love them the first time I tried them, but they tasted great today!
We made a steak salad with tomatoes, red onion, cucumber, red pepper, kalamata olives, and feta. Anthony grilled the steak and the whole thing was delicious!
And, some leftover garlic bread from last night with a bit of pesto – I could almost have this for dinner by itself!
Hope your night has been great! Good night!
